Wavelet method for processing white l ight interferogram frOm
optical fiber interferometer

摘要：A method based on the wavelet transfOrm is proposed for processing white l ight Interferograms frOm
optical fiber inteferome ters．With this method，the envelope and the zero optical path diference(ZO—
PD)of white light interferograms are obtained with high accuracy．The results agree well with those
obtained by the method of center of gravity．Reasons for the insensitivity to noises of this method are
discu ssed．The me thod is expected to be useful whe n proces ing white light interferograms frOm optical
fiber inteferometers，especiallY with Iow signa1．to-noise ratio．
